Thank you for participation in our 2024 AAPI Heritage Month Cultural Festival!

This past May, the Heritage Museum of Asian Art, with generous sponsorship from The Chicago Community Trust, offered free admission to the museum, allowing more visitors to experience our diverse and enriching events.Throughout the month, the Heritage Museum of Asian Art hosted a variety of events blending traditional Asian culture with modern elements. Attendees participated in Calligraphy, Tai Chi, Chinese Paper-Cutting, Indian Dance, Movie Screening with KAN-WIN and a Drop-in Sketching day. Highlights included performances from our resident artist Irene Hsiao and our monthly 3rd Friday Free Admission Night along with special performances. We held informative discussions on traditional and contemporary Asian performances, providing visitors with a richer understanding of Asian cultural expressions.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the guests, participants, and supporters who made this month’s events a resounding success. Your enthusiasm and engagement are what drive us to continue our mission of celebrating Asian art and culture. Looking ahead, the Heritage Museum of Asian Art is committed to offering even more engaging events and exhibitions. Thank you for all the support and participation, we look forward to seeing you next year!

"Our festival is more than just an event; it's a celebration of the vibrant and diverse cultures that make up Asia," says Jeffery Moy, the Founder of the Heritage Museum of Asian Art. "Through a series of workshops, lectures, and cultural experiences, we aim to foster understanding and appreciation for the rich heritage of the Asian community."
