About the event

Join us for an exploration of Japanese whiskies made with koji 麹 fermentation, a traditional technique in Japan for over 500 years. We’ll sample four whiskies—all produced using koji—and learn how this process transforms different grains into spirits that are fermented, aged, and bottled in Japan. Whisky expert Kevin Obis of ImpEx Beverages will lead the tasting and discussion, sharing insights from his years of experience and his recent hands-on time at the distilleries in 2025.
