Join us for an engaging introduction to the beauty, history, and craftsmanship of jade, one of the world’s most treasured materials. As part of HMAA’s commitment to making art accessible to our community, this class offers an approachable and immersive experience for all learners.
In this session, you’ll explore the history and value of jade, learn how it differs from other gemstones, study works from the museum’s collection, and see jade stones and carving techniques up close.
You’re also welcome to bring one piece from your own jade collection for Jun to evaluate (limit: one item per person).
