Ancient Currencies Across Asia

A Micro-Exhibition

June 2026 – To Be Announced

This micro-exhibition presents currencies from across Asia spanning thousands of years, from silver and copper coins to tea bricks once used as a medium of exchange. These objects reflect the collector's fascination with the remarkable diversity of monetary traditions and the many ways communities have assigned value throughout history.

Today, these objects no longer circulate as currency or serve as a means of exchange. Instead, they have become works of art in their own right and enduring traces of human history. Each piece carries stories of commerce, craftsmanship, and a glimpse of humanity. We invite you to look down and look closely.
