Asian Art
Research Book Library

During the Asian art market boom of the early 2000s, many U.S.-based collectors sold their collections in full. Jeffrey Moy acquired a significant number of Asian art research libraries during this period, making them available to the public through HMAA. The museum lost its original building during the COVID-19 pandemic, when fundraising came to a halt.

The library is currently in storage, but visitors may view the catalogued portion of the collection online. Approximately 20% of the books still need to be catalogued.
