About the event

Chinese Tarot Reading: Year of the Horse Special

Languages: Mandarin / English

Each participant may book multiple sessions

This special 40 minutes Chinese tarot reading is designed as an intimate, one-on-one session—open to an individual or two people together—centered on the dynamic energy of the Year of the Horse. Known for movement, independence, and momentum, the Horse year invites questions about direction, agency, change, and personal rhythm.

Drawing from Chinese symbolic systems and tarot-based narrative reading, the session treats divination as a reflective and interpretive process rather than a fixed prediction. Cards are read as a visual and symbolic language, helping participants think through life transitions, relationships, work, creativity, and long-term cycles of change.

Participants are welcome to bring multiple questions. The reading unfolds as a conversation, allowing themes to shift and deepen over the course of the hour. Whether approached as cultural exploration, personal reflection, or narrative inquiry, this session offers a grounded space to pause, recalibrate, and engage thoughtfully with the year ahead.

Meet Your Reader:

Lili Xie is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher whose practice spans photography, performance, video, installation, and ceramics. Alongside her artistic work, she has studied and practiced Zi Wei Dou Shu(紫微斗数) and Tarot for over ten years, with a particular focus on traditional East Asian divination systems as cultural, symbolic, and narrative structures.

Xie approaches divination not as prediction, but as a method of inquiry into subjectivity, time, and embodied experience. She has incorporated divinatory systems into her artistic practice as conceptual frameworks and generative tools, exploring how fate, chance, and interpretation intersect with personal identity and lived experience.
