Explore a unique selection of collectible and historical items, including traditional snuff bottles, collectible jade carvings, antique Chinese porcelains, rare books on Asian art and artifacts, and other special finds rarely available to the public. Whether you are an experienced collector, a lover of Asian art and culture, or simply searching for a meaningful gift, this is a wonderful opportunity to discover remarkable objects while supporting the museum.

Spend the day exploring the museum’s exhibitions, connecting with the community, and celebrating another year of preserving and sharing Asian art and cultural heritage in Chicago.

The Heritage Museum of Asian Art builds upon the legacy of our founder, Jeffrey Moy, who has been dedicated to preserving, promoting, and dealing in Asian art since the 1960s. In 1990, Mr. Moy had the opportunity to purchase the historic New York bookstore “Paragon Book Gallery.” Seizing the opportunity, he acquired the business, relocated it to Chicago, and transformed it into one of the largest specialty Asian bookstores in the United States. The gallery offered a wide range of books covering the entirety of Asia, including subjects related to art, language, history, and culture.
