About the event
The Heritage Museum of Asian Art invites you to the opening reception of Stitching Stories: Interwoven, a continuation of the 2025 initiative Stitching Stories: Cross-Cultural Healing through Quilting and Textile Arts. Developed in partnership with the Needles and Threads Quilters Guild, this exhibition brings together Asian and African American artists through textile practices, storytelling, and shared creative inquiry.
This new iteration introduces fresh works, new voices, and strengthened connections, continuing to build a growing network committed to care-centered collaboration and cross-cultural understanding. Through intentional exchange and creative practice, Stitching Stories: Interwoven invites us to consider how shared narratives can shape a more connected future.
Celebrate the opening with us, meet the artists, and enjoy light refreshments as we come together in community.
