About the event
At the intersection of AANHPI Heritage Month and Pride Month, the Chinese American Museum of Chicago (CAMOC) and Heritage Museum of Asian Art (HMAA) are coming together to present a vibrant Pride Kick-off Party celebrating Chicago’s queer AANHPI community in the heart of Chinatown.
As we continue honoring the richness and diversity of AANHPI communities, this event creates space to uplift voices, stories, and creative expressions that have too often been overlooked or underestimated. Featuring performers, DJs, and artists from across the Asian diaspora, the evening highlights the joy, resilience, creativity, and presence of queer AANHPI communities, past, present, and future.
Guests will enjoy an exciting lineup of drag performances, live DJ sets, signature cocktails, a buffet spread from local sponsors, and raffle prizes throughout the night. More than a party, the event is an opportunity to gather in celebration, solidarity, and community at the beginning of Pride Month.
Tickets are on sale now and space is limited. Last year’s event sold out early, so reserve your spot and join us for an unforgettable evening of celebration and connection.
